Isle of Wight Festival, one of the UK’s most famous rock and pop music festivals, has an esteemed history. Having held its first edition way back in 1968, the festival was subsequently banned due to the sheer amount of people who turned up in 1970 to see Jimi Hendrix’s last ever gig.
It returned in 2002 as Rock Island, and has since gone onto to achieve a worldwide reputations thanks to its rock-tastic, pop-filled, dance-packed line-ups. Its hall of fame includes David Bowie, Jay Z, Fleetwood Mac and Queen.
Isle of Wight has also been named Family Festival of the Year on two occasions, thanks to its relaxed, inclusive atmosphere and variety of activities for all ages. Last year over 58,000 people flocked to Seaclose Park to feast on music, theatre, film, comedy, fun and games, celebrating what makes the Isle of Wight Festival as relevant as it ever has been.

Hideout Festival

One of Europe’s number one beach music festivals

Novalja, Croatia, 25 – 29 June 2018

Hideout is an electronic music festival on Zrće beach in Croatia. Taking over some of Novalja’s best clubs, such as Papaya, the festival has become one of Europe’s number one beach festivals.
Setting up for five days and nights of full-throttle partying, inside clubs, on beaches and on boats, Hideout’s dance-centric lineup stretches from house and techno through to grime, D&B and garage. 2018’s edition will see sets from Chase & Status, Andy C, AJ Tracey and Bicep.
The perfect summer getaway for party-goers, days at Hideout are spent relaxing on the beaches, surfing the waves, or hitting up one of the many pool or boat parties. Nights, well, that’s when the real festival comes alive, buzzing all the way till sunrise.

Arcade Fire – Live in Lisbon

The indie icons touch down in Portugal’s capital

Arcade Fire, one of the biggest bands in the world, head to Portugal for a concert in the heart of the country’s capital city.
The performance will see the Canadian indie heroes present songs from fifth album Everything Now – released in July 2017 – in their new 360º show, perfect for the round concert space in Lisbon’s Campo Pequeno.
You can also expect to hear tracks from their celebrated back catalogue, as Win Butler, Régine Chassagne and co. make it clear why they are one of the most revered bands in the world of alternative music
